These award winning farms run by the Alvarez family are set on the green hills of the Santa Ana volcano. This coffee is grown at an altitude of 1,300m above sea level where the rich volcanic soils and mild climate are ideal for growing coffee.
The family are committed to the development of sustainable farming practices in order to protect the natural environment. All of the coffee is grown under a canopy of shade trees which naturally enriches and conserves the soil to provide an ideal environment for birds and other wildlife.
